AMAHDU BELLO UNIVERSITY 2016/2017(MBA)

Requirements

1. MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA) REGULAR

Suggested Duration of Study:
  • 24 months (4 Semesters)
  • Minimum Duration = 18 months (3 Semesters)
  • Maximum Duration = 48 months (8 Semesters)
Admission Requirements:
  1. All candidates must possess the basic university entry requirement of five credit passes including English and Mathematics at O’ Level.
  2. Possession of NYSC certificate (or exemption letter) especially for applicants under 30 years and any of (3,4,5 and 6). Graduates from NOUN, other distance learning centers within or outside the country are exempted from this requirement.
  3. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with at least a second class lower or 2.40 Cumulative Grade Point Average from Ahmadu Bello University or any recognized University,
  4. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any related courses with 3rd class plus 5yrs post-graduation experience or a Third class with Post Graduate Diploma.
  5. HND (minimum of Lower Credit) in Business Administration plus PGD in Management or Finance will be considered
  6. HND holders in Business Administration (Minimum of Lower Credit) from any recognized Polytechnic who are holders of any recognized professional certificates such as ANAN, ACIB and ACA may be considered

Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) Class Of Degree
4.50 – 5.00 Distinction
2.40 – 4.49 Pass
Below 2.40 Fail

2. MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA) SPECIAL

 Suggested Duration of Study:
  • 36 months (6 Semesters)
  • Minimum Duration = 18 months (3 Semesters)
  • Maximum Duration = 60 months (10 Semesters)
 Admission Requirements:
  1. All candidates must possess the basic university entry requirement of five credit passes including English and Mathematics at O’ Level.

Fee

We recognize that some individuals may have financial constraints in funding their professional development. For this reason, we have provided installment payment plans for the school fees. Details are available on the fees page.
APPLICATION METHOD
Students can apply at apply.abudlc.edu.ng.
Before you apply, please be sure to have a digital copy of your passport photograph with you. Your WAEC certificates and other relevant credentials will be required for sighting later. Application fee is N10,000 payable on the platform using your Verve and MasterCard.

PAYMENT METHODS


All payments can be made directly online or through bank payment . The following steps are required to make payment.

1. Bank Payment (Zenith Bank and First Bank)

Visit any branch of Zenith Banks or First Banks
  1. Fill the teller with your invoice number written at the top and the amount to be paid (as shown below)
  2. Tell the teller attendant you want to make payment through NIBBSS platform (eBillsPay)
  3. The BILLER/ Account name is VGG EBIPS
  4. Payment will be processed.
  5. Login to the application portal and your payment should reflect.
  6. Remember to collect you payment verification page from the teller.

2. Interswitch Webpay

Payment can be made directly from application portal through interswitch webpay. Follow the instruction on the screen untill you get to payment page.When the Interswitch web pay page has loaded (as indicated by their logo), proceed to input your card details on the pay and click on Pay.

3a. Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) Internet Banking

Login with your username and password
  1. On the left pane, select ‘Payment & Collection’
  2. Select ‘NIBSS Ebills Payments’ in the pane
  3. Select ‘New Request’
  4. Select the account to debit, provide your Security Answer and click ‘Continue’
  5. Search for VGG-EBIP on the page that follows by typing in ‘VGG’
  6. Provide your invoice number
  7. Review and confirm transaction details by clicking ‘Continue’
  8. Provide your PIN/Token code

3b. Zenith Bank Internet Banking

Login with your username and password
  1.  On the left pane, select ‘Payments’
  2. Select ‘NIBSS Ebills Payments’ in the pane
  3. Select the account to debit and click ‘Submit’
  4. Search for VGG-EBIP on the page that follows by typing in ‘VGG’
  5. Provide your invoice number
  6. Review and confirm transaction details by clicking ‘Continue’
  7. Provide your PIN/Token code

Screening

After successful payment and completion of your application form, you have to get screened. You will need to bring hardcopies of ALL RELEVANT credentials such as O’ level certificates, birth certificates and other such documents for sighting and submission.

Admission Letter

If you are successful, you will be sent an offer of provisional admission by email. Please check your spam box if you can not find the email.
